Celtic Trails
The Celtic Trail has something for every type of cyclist.
If you love challenging rides with stunning coastal views, then why not try a two-day loop through Pembrokeshire?
For families cycling with small children, there’s a fantastic traffic-free section along the Millennium Coastal Path from Pembrey, with plenty of beaches for picnic stops.
If you’re into off-road adventure, then the High Level Route section out of Neath is guaranteed to get the adrenaline racing round your body.
Of course, you could ride the whole 220-mile route in one go. We recommend you set out from Fishguard in the west to make the most of the prevailing winds. That way you’ll make it to Chepstow Castle, five days later, feeling fit as a fiddle, having cycled through coastline, valleys and stunning country parks.

An optional off-road High Level Route option through the forests between Neath and Pontypridd climbs to 2000ft (600m).
