Lon Las Cymru
With 250 miles of quiet lanes, and cycle paths that take you over three distinct mountain ranges, the Lon Las Cymru is the ultimate cycle tour of Wales.
Put aside a week, if you want to do it in one go… but why squander the experience? You can take it in bite-sized chunks by cherry-picking some of the best weekend routes on the trail.
That way you can enjoy two days in the Brecon Beacons or a long weekend cycling through Snowdonia National Park. And of course, it makes for a great eco-friendly tour through the Cambrian Mountains and on to the world-famous Centre for Alternative Technology.
But if you want a challenge, the ride from Holyhead in the north to Cardiff or Chepstow in the south is hard to beat.
